The only positive in his past performance chart was two fastest workouts of the day.

My pleasure... I'll do the same for the Preakness, unless someone else beats me to the gate.

Hey PJ!

What's the "bet on the grey" theory? From the "De Camptown Races"?

Love to hear! ;-)

I have a $20 EXB 12,16 that cost $40.00 (betting slip from the local track)

I have no idea if having the show horse AFLEET ALEX in the box means I'm in the money...

A little help here please...

Yuppers. AA looked good but may have been intimidated a bit by the crowd. BTW - I haven't had time to scroll through all the posts yet so maybe someone esle mentioned this - Am I the only one who thought there was more than a little bumping? Expecially when AA got boxed in and moved between horses several times.

Aside from the race itself, it is nice to hear the beautiful Kentucky Home being played and sung. BUT------ why does the camera have to focus on those women. Not one was worthy of the moment! Was that a can of beer that one of them had---and took a swig???

I just re-ran the race slow motion. The race was clean.

"The only positive in his past performance was the two fastest workouts of the day"

This morning, I was listening to all the handicappers say the West coast horses had no chance. Ha. I wish I would have put more than just two dollars on him. The payoff for the exacta was something like $9000 wow.

From what I read all week, there a few handicappers who figured Bellamy Road would burn out before the finish.

I'm curious as to the order of finish for ALL horses.

When there are a lot of horses like that, bumping is going to be there no matter what you try to do. There was bumping in this race, but if you want to see bumping, try to see if you can find a tape of the Derby that Charismatic won. I think it was 1999? They had major bumping in that race. It was awful. General Challenge nearly fell on his face a couple times.
