The Catholic Church is NOT swayed by polls, by whining, by protests, and CERTAINLY NOT by smear campaigns by the likes of those butchers.
PP is pissed off because they CANNOT force/sway the CC to bow down to their agendas.
The CC answers to God...to God's Word. And I admire them for NOT kow-towing to the popular PC crap.
There are bad apples within the church. For example, Sister Helen Prejean had to change her stand on abortion when she came out against the death penalty.
Initially, she thought it was bad to kill condemned criminals (which society has been doing for a loooonnnggg time) but it was okay to kill the itty bitty babies.
And they can be converted. Many of these bad apples may just go to hell.
So do I, although I'm not exactly a 'good Catholic'(I haven't even been to church in years...)
