Can someone please explain to me why they don't just have a girls wrestling team?
Or would that just make too much damned sense?

There is no girls wrestling team because there are only a few girls in the entire country who want to wrestle. So, the rules get changed & the boys must suffer for these little "princesses" who want to wrestle like a boy. I guess supply & demand don't apply in this case. If they want to graplle, there are many martial arts academies that have female classes & tournaments.
