I do have a knack for birthdays!
My "mentor" is a 70 year old woman who threw herself a BASH for her 70th. She taught me that birthdays are things to be celebrated - either in foreign lands where you are learning and laughing OR with all of your friends at a Gala....
I make a BIG DEAL each year out of my friends' birthdays AND my own.

Bill Kamal thought he was above the law because he was a local "celebrity". He was a boozehound who drove drunk, & a pedophile who drove a far distance to meet a boy he supposedly wanted to "help". He says he was bored & just fooling around on his computer the day he decided to chat with the boy. The man was 47 not 12 this doesn't add up & sounds ridiculous. I used to see him prancing around like a Prima-Dona wanting attention & to be recognized. Sometimes he was with Twinkies (boys barely 18), other times he was alone. There was always an aire of arrogance to this man. He didn't drive all that distance to "help" anybody with his coupons for steak & pizza (I'd be ashamed to even admit that on TV!) He wanted sex & he got what he deserves. He should be GLAD it's only a 5 year sentence. He's NO victim.
I missed that part too. Maybe the writer feels the pervert's "confidence" trumps the fact that he's a creep. Or maybe his glamor - or his great hair. It doesn't get any shallower than this. Or creepier. I have NO pity for this jerk. He's into kids and got caught with one of the older ones. I suspect he'd go after the younger ones if they were available. Let him rot.

Lived in South Florida for well over 20 years and knew Bill was gay for years. Still can't believe he was stupid enough to do this to his career. He was making well over 125k a yr...he blew it...just blew it.
It's not surprising to see that Bill hasn't changed his spots since he was a Weatherman on Washington, DC's WUSA-9. Then left under a "Mysterious Cloud".
