A ban? Sounds like a tax to me.

The $50 “tax” on ammo along with a $50 a year permit fee would pretty much disarm me – particularly the ammo “tax”.

Yeah we agree seeing how we have to cover 100% of our healthcare ourselves and raise two kids along with that. That sort of tax would force me to order tens of thousands of rounds of ammo (each gun) and have it shipped to my friend in Mississippi as a gift where he would not see any reason to have it since he dont have any guns and then give it to me. lol.. tons of ways around most of this bill legally and i doubt it will get through but this one has a better chance. The thing to do is stock up now before anything happens to air on the side of caution. If for any reason this never happens, you have a lot of plinking ammo or something to hold you over for when the martians attack (joke).. Remember the first assault weapons ban passed because a lot of us sat by and said, it will never pass...... well that's exactly how this one will, on a fast track, quietly and without much oposition unless we pass the word and get people to speak out. the phone number for her local office (marked in BOLD) has an answering machine on it right now. Use it but do it responsibly and nicely.

Maybe if we flood their lines (one call per person) and email they wont be able to conspire to deprive us of our rights and liberties?
