This is in Louisiana, what chance does it have? I'm not saying take it laying down, to the contrary, flood their lines.

Fairly split down the middle. There was a bill that was introduced a while back and it was very similar but shot down fast. Right now we are seeing serious considerationf or this bill since it is masked with the impression of being just a tax and being just a new form of registration and control. What people fail to realize is that the more records, the less freedom you have. ATF and the feds know EVERY SINGLE gun we buy when we fill out that yellow form, what more do they want from us. This is actually a minority black lady from New Orleans that is strict in religious beliefs and wants to show her power across the state because she fails to get anything done in her own home town. New Orleans is murder city #1 and it's all cheap handguns, 95% handguns. Every once in a blue moon there is a crime and someone used an SKS but those guns are not in any more with the gangster style, rambo is out and pistol packing is in.

It was the movie industry that brought on the big flare of owning these replica weapons, albeit they are real, their just semi-autos. The one thing that we notice os that the criminal element is packing concealed now, its not popular to see AK47's any more. When you look at the stats, it is just handguns and those specifically are Jennings, Hi Point, and all the other 100 and 200 dollar 9mm handguns being pushed into the market.
