The Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA), which opens on Thursday, describes itself as the nation's first scholarly museum devoted to art and the Bible.

"But then in at least one or two cases we looked at the programming of those channels and we realized that it worried us," Ms. Edgar said, declining to name the channels. "It was because so much of the programming that is Christian, at least in some markets, tends to be very politically active in a way that we didn't want to be aligned with"

That's just dumb.

I think I'll open an auto museum, but I won't advertise to car enthusiasts, because I don't want to be known as a grease monkey.

A Museum About the Bible Aims To Be Taken Seriously

Can't be any more ridiculous than NYC's Museum of Sex.

And a rag called the "New York Times" arrogates to itself the title of "Newspaper of Record."
