Then please explain why we worked so damn hard to add seats in the senate? What exactly has changed in this new congress? Why is the President's Energy Package still languishing in the senate after 4 years? Why can't Bolton be confirmed as UN Ambassador by a Republican Chair and his cohorts? Why can't deserving jurists, some of which have waited 4 years, get an up or down vote in this newly expanded republican senate majority? NO RELAXING! If you are ok with their dithering that has lasted years, then so be it, but I'm done until they recognize the importance of conservatives to the party. Talk is cheap, and I refuse to donate to them for all this lip service with no action.

Until recently there weren't enough conservatives in the senate to field a majority, and that's why it was a graveyard for most of the conservative legislation sent over from the house. It has literally taken ten years just to get to this point.

Now we stand on the cusp of a hugh fight over imposing a return to the constitution -- something the Rats will vehemently oppose. The so-called Mod Squad in the GOP has been stalling (read: waiting for the biggest piece of pork largesse) on getting aboard this train. I think we've got them now.
