Police state? That's why doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc. are licensed by the state as professionals. They perform an important professional service for the public, and they are expected to maintain their ethics (not morals). This has nothing to do with a police state. I don't agree with abortion either, but if this pharmacist is not filling a doctor's prescription, they should lose their license. What other important drugs will this person withhold? I don't care what Walgreens' policy is, this is not a trivial matter, and I think the authorities need to step in on this.
