The only way to post to the banglist is to enter keyword "banglist".
The old methods don't work.

Not very smart to do, but certainly not a case for the gun control zealots to use either.

school resource officer Robert Miller how his holster works. Busha said during the demonstration, Miller was trying to explain to the students that the holsters are so secure that no one could take an officer's gun. At that point, Miller told a student to try and take the gun out, said Busha. The student tried and the gun went off. The gun never left the holster, said Busha.WHAT?????
First, WHAT is a 'school resource officer'???
Can't be a POLICE Officer, right? WHAT POLICE Officer would let ANYONE near their gun? LET alone invite a child to try to take it?!!

"They're also there to build provide a way for children to better understand what law enforcement does is an educational component that school resource officers do," said Busha.

LOL!
Will this incident "trigger" an investigation? Will they "fire" the officer? I'll bet the school board will be "gunning for his job! His nerves have got to be "shot" after this.

School resourse officer?
What, they let librarians and Audi visual aides carry guns now?
BTW, shouldn't he be referred to as ex-school resource officer?

Why didn't they have "resource officers" like that when I was in school?

This guy should be prosecuted for reckless endangerment.
He should have removed the magazine and cleared the chamber before even showing the firearm to children.

First it's hot blonde teachers, now resource officers. Seems like everyone's going off half-cocked in in school these days.

This certainly is not the caliber of post I've come to expect from FR. ;-)

I have to wonder what kind of holster this was, and if it was the holster or the student's finger that pressed the trigger. This sounds like a Rule 3 violation (in addition to the egregious behavior by the officer).
"Now remember, kids, I'm the only one here qualified to handle this weapon."
