Seriously, I'd recommend that you try to get a copy of the contract that Perry just signed with Cintra (the Spanish toll road company). As I understand it, the critical parts are being kept secret for "proprietary" reasons - although what's really in there are probably monopoly-type protections for Cintra (it took 3 years to pry loose the contract that Cintra signed with Ontario for a similar project). If you cannot get to read that contract, you may want to seriously consider going to a state that doesn't have a Nixionan-type government.

If this ole Texan has anything to do with it he won't be re-elected. Even if I have to vote for a dead democrat.

I agree - he looks to be in panic mode now. I think he's toast - even a decent Dem could beat him.

The problem that Perry will have in 2006, as I see it, is the one that the beloved EMK had in 1979, when Roger Mudd asked EMK to tell the people why he wasnted to be President. EMK was incoherent. Perry has no real answers to why he should continue in office, or does he have answers that I have missed? I am wondering though if a Perry-Hutchison primary would be like a Snowe-Collins primary in ME.
