Id like to agree with you Howlin, but I cant, Frist has shown nothing to me in the way of conviction. Couple that with all the RINOs going off of the reservation and not doing anything to rein them in, to me smacks of weakness. Its a weakness the Dems recognize and exploit..
I would have to disagree on Frist.
I saw him on the Senate Floor today. He confronted Byrd in a lie. Apparently Byrd told the president he would vote to confirm all judges. Byrd then suggested he would only confirm some. Frist outed this lie for all to note. What followed was Byrd in a mental meltdown.
I don't know what will happen with this vote. But I do believe Frist is not the enemy nor that he lacks conviction. Pressure needs to be amped up on the mavericks and red state Senators though.

You would do well to take note of the fact that Senator Frist is best known for cutting open a chest and removing a beating heart, to replace it with another.
He does this with the calm and aplomb of a mechanic fixing a car's brakes. He is ice cold in his demeanor. Yesterday he cut out the heart of Senator Byrd on the Senate Floor and he didn't realize it till it was gone.
