"Public broadcasting is a very fragile institution," So is network news, and they don't want to accept the reality either.

Bill Buckley observed years ago that liberals pay great lip-service to honoring all points of view. It just surprises them that there is another point of view.

It's just a matter of months before the PBS public funding will be cut off now. The last thing the Dems want is public funding of unbiased media.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting will begin an internal review of political monitoring of PBS programming in response to Democratic complaints, the CPB's inspector general said Thursday. Okay. Now I've seen EVERYTHING.

Answer: Make it nonpolitical in all aspects and keep the funding. Show programs like how to give CPR, etc.

If liberals get furious the rule is that we're doing something they're afraid of.
And in this case, they're afraid a taxpayer-funded propaganda outlet will be silenced. So what do they do? They accuse Republicans of trying to do what they've been doing for decades, namely using public funds to spread a political message.
Fire all of them. Let them fund Idiot America with their own money.

What excellent news. After at least a decade of being in the iron grip of liberals, there's at least hope of some balance being exercised at PBS. The fact that the Democrats are flipping out about possibly losing one of their best propaganda outlets makes it that much sweeter.

Yessir, let's have a thorough unbiased investigation. Conyers nominates a committee comprised of newsman George Stephanopolis, UC Professor Ward Churchill and humorist Al Franken. They'll get to the bottom of this.

STOP taking my money and giving it to millionaire Bill Moyers so he can have a platform for ideas I find abhorent.
