I'm sorry, but this one deserves a barf alert. They lost. They should get over it.
The other teams volunteered; this wasn't something demanded or even requested by the team that fell. This was a great gesture that is the very definition of good sportsmanship.

This was a great gesture that is the very definition of good sportsmanship. Baloney: good sportsmanship means being a good winner and a good loser. Good winners don't step aside so that the loser can "win."
