I live in rural Indiana. There are tons of cats here as well. I either feed them or I don't. Haven't found the need to murder any roving animal yet, though. I have about 3 families of bunnies in my yard, preventing me from having a garden. I've tossed them some lettuce, but they still don't trust me quite yet.

Your post sounds like some of the confused callers on C-span. If you have tons of cat's you do not have families of bunnies. Cat's seem to want to kill them, however, maybe you have vegie cat's.

I have never seen a cat effectively attack a bunny. Yes we have tons of cats here in rural Indiana. And yes, I have several families of bunnies in my yard.

I have noticed that people who torture cats have a tendency to grow up to become serial killers. And then the state gets to put them to death. I certainly approve of that. The state putting them to death, that is. Perhaps we should put them to death before they start murdering humans. Cat cruelty seems to be a reasonable indicator of danger to humans.
