Hello Dose Friends.. I feel cheated I was too late to see your "stuff" Mike......aren't we greedy in America? Thank you both! and congrats & good luck on your new work Wolfstar. I feel so badly than many I know feel "stuck" in positions that are not only unsatisfactory but often very troubling. Tenure, pensions etc all reasons for feeling trapped. Hope you are in something that not only is $$ friendly but gives you joy.

As so many of you have indicated, the President has such an incredible 'heart' for people. [It's one of the MANY reasons I love and respect him so!]

Newsweak has issued an apology, they say they got the facts wrong and are sorry for the mess they caused. Personally, I feel Michael Isikoff should be fired.

Normally the mascot are not that hot because our soccer season is winter but of course the beginning is the end of summer start of autumn and the end of the season is late spring so at the start and end of the season they do get rather hot.

Mike, I don't think one needs to be an expert... it is what appeals to one.. all of us here have different ideas on fashion, ties etc. Not sure there is a right or wrong.

I recall yearly some of the truly outrageous style (to me) that are touted as FASHIONALBE by the "experts". I never see a woman wearing the clothes except on the runway. Maybe I am in the wrong circles.. but I think in general the rule of fashion for most DC women is to dress nicely & NOT OFFEND... but some POTUS haters would be offended by anything, as we well know

I recall one year helping the kiwanis with a fund raising project in NC. It was a cool fall & it was the county fair. for 5 days I wore a snoopy costume for 6 hours 4 -10. I was so hot, sweaty..and the outdoor temps were high 40's to high 50s during the week. I tend to run hot temp wise anyway - since then I really "feel" for those who do it. OUr mascots in summer baseball must really be uncomfortable.

I'm hearing on Drudge that NEWSWEAK is retracting their retraction, kinda pulling a Dan rather and sticking to their story, just apologizing for the mayhem it caused
