Missing Chapters of Clinton's "My Life" Exposed in New Book Tue May 10, 8:00 AM ET

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 10, 2005 -- Bill Clinton rose to the White House in part claiming to be a supporter of women"s rights, but a shocking new book claims to document a pattern of disturbing attacks against women that renders the former President"s claim hollow.

In "Their Lives: The Women Targeted by the Clinton Machine" (World Ahead Publishing, $25.95, ISBN 0974670138), author Candice E. Jackson documents how Bill Clinton used his political power to harass, intimidate, and terrorize women who got in his way. Whether it was assembling a smear team to attack a grief-stricken widow, threatening a reporter for her research into an Arkansas health care scandal, or hiring private investigators to bully an ex-flame's family members, Jackson says that Clinton showed no reluctance to go after any woman who inconvenienced his political career.

"This pattern of cold-blooded willingness by Clinton, his wife, and their inner circle to do anything to maintain power is clear," claims Jackson, an attorney and commentator who is also a recovering victim of domestic assault. "Their Lives," which the author says fills in missing chapters from the 950 page "My Life," debuts in stores on May 31, 2005, the same day as the paperback version of Clinton's memoir. This book features an in-depth look at eight women who crossed paths with the so-called "Man from Hope" - seven former objects of desire as well as his wife, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Drawn from first-hand interviews and hundreds of sources, the book promises to counter Clinton's recent efforts to rehabilitate his legacy, although it does not focus on the morality of Clinton"s philandering but rather his willingness to wield his political power against his victims.

The book's publication has been hailed by the women whose story it profiles. Clinton sexual harassment accuser Kathleen Willey praises the book as "the most accurate portrayal...of the true nightmare Bill and Hillary put me through." Alleged Clinton rape victim Juanita Broaddrick says "Their Lives" is "a complete chronological account."

Commentator and author David Horowitz says, "This book connects the political to the personal in a way no one has done before. It is a must read for anyone interested in the history of our age." "Bill and Hillary Clinton showed no reluctance to do whatever it took to get the job done," Jackson says in speaking of Washington's most powerful couple. "It's important to tell the stories of the women they targeted - Americans need to know this side of the Clintons before Hillary asks us to send her back to the Oval Office."

About the Author: Candice E. Jackson, a self-described liber-tarian feminist, is an attorney and commentator from Los Angeles. She formerly worked for Judicial Watch, a public watchdog group, and is a graduate of Stanford University and Pepperdine Law School. A recovering victim of domestic assault, her articles have appeared in Reason magazine, The Independent Review, and other publications.

About World Ahead Publishing: Headquartered in Los Angeles, World Ahead Publishing is the West Coast's premier publisher of conservative and libertarian books. Our growing coterie of authors share in our pro-freedom editorial ideals, and our fusionist perspective seeks to appeal to a broad audience by publishing books that advocate the free market, limited government, the protection of liberty through law, and a vigorous national defense.

Too bad Dan Rather is gone because you know he would want to have this on CBS. I guess it will be up to CNN to get the word out on this. LOL. The liberal media will ignore this just like they always have.

Surely the liberal MSM will embrace this author with fawning interviews and endless appearances - they do care so much about the well-being of women, don't they?

This is not to demean what hell these women went through, I don't want to sound insensitive BUT there are far, far more serious things that Clinton did which desperately need exposure.

I suppose that NOW (Nat'l Org. of Women) will encourage their membership to read this book. The text will highlight the pitfalls women can encounter when dealing with the rich & famous (both male & female). (/Sarcasm Off)

It absolves the feminists from doing or saying anything more. A representative member of their coterie has done a public expose. They don't have to do another thing because he is their man.

I am going to have to question the credibility of the author on some points.
I know one of women she talks about in this book, Sally Miller Perdue. I have been in touch with her about this book and she has told me that she has never been contacted by the author much less interviewed for this book.
I read the chapter in question and found it to be mostly a recap of rumors, misinformation, etc. that could have been taken from other books and the tabloids.
Now whether she interviewed some of the other women she mentions I don't know but I found the chapter on Sally Perdue with nothing new that hasn't been reported elsewhere.

I think it's great, but I don't think Ms. Jackson will get the opportunity to promote this too widely.

There is another book coming out at the end of the month on Bill Clinton by a Washington Post reporter named John Harris.
It is supposed to be a serious look at Clinton and his Presidency much like Nigel Hamilton's book was about two years ago but was a terrible disappointment.

Yes and no. Certainly the dealings with China from selling missile technology to taking campaign money from the PRA have flown quietly under the radar. On the other hand the viciousness with which these women were treated was not lost on others such as the Gonzalez family in Miami. The key is abuse of power and it was a constant theme throughout Clinton's reign. It never hurts to bring plain examples that people can understand.

I'm not familiar with Nigel Hamilton. However, I would like to hear more of the stuff Gary Aldrich talked about in "Unlimited Access".

Don't forget the number of people turning up "mysteriously" dead. I just hope Rosen stays away from Ft. Marcy Park.

NIgel Hamilton wrote the three volume biography on Field Marshall Montgomery and a book John F. Kennedy called "Reckless Youth". Everyone thought he was going to write the first serious book about Clinton's Presidency and it turned out to be a watered down rehash of what others had already written.

Not Joe Klein's Primary Colors. And not Jack Stanton.
bill clinton is straight out of
Stanley Kubrick's A CLOCKWORK ORANGE.

clinton is Alex,
one of the few truly amoral characters in either film or literature;
not quite as Kubrick (or Burgess) had imagined him, however,
but rumpled, wrinkled, paunchy, edematous,
stripped of the youth-excuse
after 30 additional, pathetic, recidivistic years
of marauding, stomping, raping, gangbanging, deceiving and destroying.

Like A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, the story of bill clinton
is the story about a society that has lost its capacity for moral choice.
But unlike in the less fabulous and no more ironic fable,
clinton is not mere nascent symbol but nihilistic agent.

clinton, like Alex, is the leader of the gang, the "droogies."
Eerily prefigured by the rocking, crooked phallus,
clinton's a conscienceless sadist
who thrills at risk and gratuitous destruction,
whose sexual and non-sexual impotence
is at the root of his obsession with "the old inout."

When Alex kills a woman during a rape, Alex is sent to prison.
When clinton rapes women, girls, his country and God knows what else. . .
and kills? --- check out those fourscore-plus deaths, please!
And don't forget the wag-the-dog, desperately-seeking-a-legacy bombings,
or the cold-blooded Ricky Ray Rector execution---
not clinton but society is imprisoned,
imprisoned in clinton's
besmirched, semen-stained, feckless presidency.

A risible and repulsive result;
yet not even the punch line.

While Alex is conditioned in prison with aversion therapy,
transmuted into a moral robot who becomes nauseated
by the mere thought of sex and violence,
bill clinton and his Thought Police,
in a perverse reverse aversion,
have conditioned society's collective brain
into not mere acquiescence but twisted admiration.

In the end,
if clinton's arrogant, ruthless, reckless nature is restored to him,
it seems the joke will be on all of us,
for it will be a victory for infinite victimhood and irresponsibility,
for seduction, for violence, for nihilism, for anarchy.

We will have set apart clinton as the hero
by making his victims less human than he;
we will have allowed clinton to carefully estrange us from his victims
so that we can enjoy the rapes and the beatings
as much as clinton himself does.

Do the documents containing allegations and evidence of attacks and against many women by Clinton still sit in a basement office of the Ford Congressional Office Building?

These would be the records that hardly anyone in Congress looked at as part of the impeachment process and subsequent non-trial.

Or maybe Sandy Burglar has already attended to them as well. ;-)
