Elderly Woman Mauled By Dogs

GRAND MOUND, Wash. -- Two dogs mauled a 79-year-old woman who was out for a walk Monday morning in Grand Mound, in south Thurston County, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.
The woman was taken to a Centralia hospital with bite wounds on her face, chest and hands.
Police were called by the owner of the dogs, a Rottweiler and Rottweiler-pit bull mix.

Those were my two guesses before I even read it.......
Who then should have cuffed the owners and took them to jail.
The article doesn't say it, but chances are the owner was a typical, insecure thug-life moron who values looking tough over the safety of family and neighbors.
That makes two of us. I love dogs but I don't see how folks can be so stupid with the pitbull breed. It's jaw just isn't formed to let go.

Maybe the US Gov't could gather them all, starve them for a few days, and air drop them into Anbar Province, Iraq and the Iraq/Pakistan border area...

To bad the press doesn't report other dog attacks, just Pitbulls and Rottweilers all the time. Whats with that?

Because a cocker spaniel attack leaves a couple of puncture wounds, and probably wouldn't require hospitalization. A chihuahua attack wouldn't merit any media attention aside from the fact that it's kind of funny. German Shephard's don't attack unless they're trained to attack. Pitbulls and Rottweilers have been known to attack without provocation. Pittbulls are the most unpredictable and dangerous dog breed because of their unpredictability and their tremendous biting power.
Two reasons. One, they are the most vicious dogs, known to attack children, other dogs, and sometimes their own masters, (Rottweilers). These dogs are extremely dominant and don't like to be challenged by anyone or anything. When they mistake any action by a stranger as a challenge you're in deep trouble.
Second, these dogs do the most severe damage to their victims. Most dogs that bite will bite once and then leave you alone when you run.
Pitbulls and Rottweilers driving SUVs are a definite menace.
