The book"Unrestricted Warfare" should be required reading in the DOD and Congress. It is very good and expilictly describes how they will take us down

They're right. Although the US cannot be defeated militarily in conventional warfare in the near term, we CAN be weakened over time to the point where we CAN be defeated.

We can only support a good military as long as our economy is strong. Do enough long-term damage to our economy, and the military will not be able to get budgeted. Unrestricted illegal immigration increasing welfare costs, H1B's killing tech sector salaries, outsourcing to Asia, all will ultimately devastate the middle class that pays the taxes that support the government

I can just hear the response of the academic left:

• Defeated? In what sense? Do you really think that there will be foreign armies patrolling our streets?
• Defeated? All they want is for us to be out of their countries. They will gladly sell us all the oil we want if we would just leave.
• Defeated? Just because we bow out in the Arab Peninsula doesn't mean our civil liberties will be endangered they may even be "restored" because we will finally be done with the Patriot Act.
• Defeated? Hell, with us out of the Mideast, the bloodshed would stop as they have no designs on the USA homeland as long as we are out of their countries.

  Don't flame me- I have personally heard these arguments made by high school teachers to their 16, 17 & 18 year old students.
