Tonight on the local news, they made it sound like the ATF was more worried about a specific kind of criminal.

LOL! Bro, they have a flair for the obvious.

We're worried that the the criminals who stole these guns might be up to criminal activity.

Just because something(s) are missing, does not yet prove a theft- could be computer problem, UPS/FEDEX, inventory, some things other than theft. But if they were really stolen, then, yes, it is by definition criminal.

You beat me to the post. That statement by the ATF spokeman is laughable. That should be ranked right up there with all time assinic quotes.
