Quite correct. And it also seemed to me that this was a pretty stupid talk to be giving to graduating grad students. Think of the world like a hand, sheeesh! it's like an analogy you'd use with kindergarteners, except for the "middle finger" part.
she thinks of us as the middle finger, that was her point---she is just covering her ass by saying it is the longest finger blah, blah etc...I get your point witch, but I won't be getting any more pepsi...If I even go to a restaurant serving pepsi I will swith to water or coffee.
