Thanks for the bump. With your help, this thread about the Quislings who want to destroy American sovereignty will go on and on and on, and will be read by thousands of impressionable lurkers.

President Fox would love to have free movement of the "people" - No Thanks
People = Mexican poor and unwanted

I have no words to express the vehemence of my opposition to such a ludicrous notion.

Threads like this at FR are like zoos. Once you've seen one, you seen them all.
BTW, what exactly is it the Senate Foreign Relations Committee doing on this perimeter security?
To: Cornpone
"sounds fishy to me but I'm willing to listen..."I listened this far:
"...police their borders together to help border trade, allow easier movement of citizens and..."
I can easily guess which "citizens" will acquire easier movement (across either of two borders).
Needs no further discussion.

William Weld, a former Republican governor of Massachusetts, and Pedro Aspe, former finance minister of Mexico, were the other co-chairmen of the task force, comprised of over 20 experts from government, business and academia. William Weld. Long-time, well-known RINO extraordinaire.
The latest in a long line of Weld infamies.

We cannot depend on our Northern neighbor for OUR security, nor can we likewise depend upon the Southern neighbor. To depend upon them would be to place the security of these United States beyond the direct control of the government sworn to protect her citizens.
I'm never going to agree to that. Washington, do your duty.

Here is what I think of the rats and rinos who would sell their nation down the river for a fast buck:
Quisling: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.
U.S. Constitution Article 4 Section 4:"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,
and shall protect each of them against Invasion;"
Invasion: \In*va"sion\, n. [L. invasio: cf. F. invasion. See Invade.] [1913 Webster]
1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.

There wouldn't be any illegals with this. This is the biggest bunch of bull I've ever heard. Talk about the Fox guarding the chicken house. Manley is a Socialist isn't he?

You have grasped the essential fact. If you think our border control today is pathetic, just wait until our leaders (sic) are able to blame tens of millions of new illegal immigrants on Mexico and Canada.
I'm never going to agree to that. Washington, do your duty.
I don't think they are hearing you.

So, whats in it for you? The funny thing about it is, this was not a thread about illegals. It was about perimeter security. But someone turned it into an illegal thread.
Perimeter security IS about illegals. There is absolutely nothing for me to gain from illegals being here in my neighborhood. It is a total loss for me. They bring crime, disease, and panhandling.
I welcome all LEGAL aliens that wish for the American Dream and are willing to go through the steps to become law abiding citizens.
As for those that support ILLEGAL aliens, there must be something in it for them. Votes, cheap labor, welfare, bringing in illegal relatives, to name a few.
Your turn, I asked you first.

"Perimeter Security IS about illegals."
Wrong.
It is about "pushing out the borders".

You are like everybody else here.
Because I disagree with you, you are compelled to call be OBL or say I support illegals. You and all the rest do this because that is you only argument. I am, you know, adamently against illegal immigration.
As it stands now, there are three options in regard to illegals.
1. Kennedy-McCain
2. Cornyn-Kyl
3. The status quo
I, of course, support Cornyn-Kyl. Where do you stand?
To: Ben Ficklin
Oh please explain "Cornyn-Kyl" to me.
And you forgot option #4:
ENFORCE THE LAW.

FROM THE ARTICLE..."The report, titled "Building a North American Community," also called for free movement within the continent for citizens through a North American Border Pass with biometric identifiers and other measures to increase economic and military cooperation between the countries."
This is the agenda boiled down. Under the guise of fighting terrorism...lets accelerate the incremental process of erasing our national identity...and our national sovereignty. This is what 'progressives' in BOTH parties want don't ya know.
Will Canada and Mexico sign on to our traditions and laws...our Constitution...all the things that make this country unique.....no way.
We don't want a North American equivalent of the EU.
IMO, the next couple years are going to continue to be a series of 'coming out parties'...as the political and economic power brokers who have this agenda reveal themselves. I think they see a window of opportunity before the immigration issues completely blow up....and the backlash intensifies.

I agree. Will the American people fear the future these people have planned for us, enough to throw the bums out of office and participate in our own government as is our duty? Or prosecute the most treasonous among them? We shall see, won't we?
The Agenda of the Elected
This author appears to have it nailed.
