Please forgive any errata in posting, as the thunderstorm is taking away my proofing time. Thanks to baseballmom for alerting me to this thread: The Past and Future of American Grand Strategy [Bush critic gets it].

"A decision by Federal Reserve Governor Edward Gramlich to step down from his post in August underscores the rare degree to which President Bush will have a hand in molding the U.S. central bank. Bush has already named five of the seven members of the Fed's Washington-based board, although one of them, Vice Chairman Roger Ferguson, was initially chosen by President Bill Clinton. President Bush looks REALLY good in that suit ;)
Haven't read through the dose yet. I think the President looks good in gray. But I think I like the contrast of dark suits better. I'm not sure.
Hi GEM, thanks for posting.
I'm so glad you got to see that article. I'm still pumped up after reading it. So many excellent points to consider, my mind is racing.
I don't mind people criticizing our W, constructive criticism that is, and this professer gave an outstanding lecture. That he was willing to share his expertise with our president makes him a good man in my book.
Pray for W and our awesome troops.
"Andrew Card swears in Air Force Lt. Gen. Michael V. Hayden...." and John Negroponte.
Could someone explain why Andrew Card was doing the swearing in? I would have thought a judge would have done the swearing in.
Thanks, as always, for the ping. What's so interesting about this photograph with Rob Portman and Carlos Gutierrez shows the Washington Hotel behind them. When we went to Washington last year during my daughter's spring break, we stayed at the Washington Hotel. having visited Washington and knowing the land a little, it's quite a pleasure to recognize landmarks.
