Newsweek vs. the White House, according to ABC News' Terry Moran.
Radio Blogger ^ | 5/18/05 | Hugh Hewitt / Terry Moran

We've talked about the bogus Newsweek desecration story for several days now, and so has the White House press corps. Yesterday, in the White House Press Room, Scott McClellan took a question about Newsweek, and said, in essence, that Newsweek ought to do all it can to correct some of the damage they did with their bogus story. Terry Moran, White House correspondent for ABC News, replied, saying that it sounded to him like Scott was trying to be the editor of Newsweek. Elizabeth Bumiller of the New York Times later quipped, very sarcastically, that maybe Scott wanted her to do a story that said how great the military was. Hugh was pretty exercised, played the audio on the show, and asked me to try to reach both Moran and Bumiller. Terry, to his credit, returned the call, and agreed to come on for a segment. It was a heated exchange, and it turned into almost three segments. Without further adieu, here's the interview:

Yep. Reporting good news is propaganda, but reporting news HARMFUL to the country is NOT working for the other side? Oh, uh, ok, if you say so, MSM...

Not everyone can handle success. It has to come by merit and not ingratiating entitlement -- or it will destroy them. People of merit have great humility; people of ingratiating entitlement reveal their arrogance, ignorance, insufferable self-righteousness.

Rush read this today. Elizabeth Bumiller asked McClellan a question. He started to answer and she interrupted with another question. He tried to answer and she interrupted with another question. He tried a third time and she interruped again! I would have had her escorted out about this time. He MUST have more important things to do than cater to that braying jackassed bitch!

I scanned the interview and towards the end TM says his brother runs a blog called Right Wing Nut House.

I checked it out and it is a conservative blog by a guy named Rick Moran.

Hewitt also asked TM who he voted for in 04.TM said he wouldnt say but that Hewitt would be surprised.

I got the impression TM wants to be all things to all people.IOW, a selfserving POS.

Wow. Nicely said. Wise words.

They find these people in the same places Hitler found his supporters. Mental defects and convicts.

In my life's experience I have had the fortune to work for and with people of merit, and I have had the sorrow in working for people of "entitlement." God in Heaven forgive me for my hatred of the people who were promoted over me because they were "entitled."

I read his interview with Hugh Hewitt. Moran came off as sounding like he generally agreed with Hewitt's line of reasoning. But to me, he still doesn't understand why much of this nation is angry with the MSM.

No, it's self-selection.

Those who will do the most despicable and degrading things win the Survivor series.

The bidding starts at selling your sister. From there, they double the stakes. When they've sold out everybody in their country, the bonus round begins.

>>>God in Heaven forgive me for my hatred of the people who were promoted over me because they were "entitled."

I'm guilty too! This is what makes us humans and not saints. Don't feel bad. Just ensure you don't torch a vehicle of a lefty. This is how we separate ourselves.

Anyone who earns their place in the spotlight through blood, sweat and tears will be attacked by this group of insecure, nonachieving, self appointing antisocial movement we refer to as the left (for lack of better words).

They can't make it on their own, so they ban together to create groups to give each other titles, awards, and attention. Then they have tantrums when we see through the self appointed status and find no substance.

Now that is interesting! I've never watched Survivor or any of those shows. I totally follow your point though!

Wow, ultimate propaganda plus training!

Very interesting.

Thank you and a bump for your wisdom!

But I would not necessarily make the mistake in assuming that I shared the assumption that underlies the question.

Huh?

Bill O'Reilly said that Scott should have come down and slapped Terry for his remarks. I agree.
