Freedom of the Press, sometime in the recent past, became freedom to allow fifth columnists and the actual foreign enemy to operate freely and openly in my own country.
And we seem totally helpless to stop it. I will be eternally puzzled by that gross perversion of a simple ideal.
It defies all reason, logig and historical precedent.
Where it will lead is fascinating, no matter what the outcome.

Because way to many people don't understand that liberty isn't license.
It defies all reason, logig and historical precedent
That's not logical! :-)

The way to stop it is to stop calling it "bias", and to stop referring the them as MSM, they are DNC operatives, running a 24/7 political campaign.
It is way past time for the right to treat them as such.
Why would a US Senator or Congressman sit at a DNC table on Sunday's and be lectured to, and put on the defensive? Why would they answer questions from a DNC operative working for the NYT or WP?
They should be home talking to their public, door to door, and consistently having town hall meetings.
And we and those pols on the right should be doing opposition research on each "reporter", ie DNC opp, each producer, each CEO, who claims to be a run a "news" organization. A campaign to expose them for what they are is needed, the Dems would be nowhere without them.
