Hmmm...his line of thinking is the same as mine. The "Church" is the people, not bricks and mortar. You are the church, it is not a place that you go. They talk about people who have left the physical church and have discovered a more meaningful relationship with God for doing so. I am a prime example of that. I agree. The church (body of Christ) is composed of people - not things! Until about two years ago I had not went to church for almost twenty years (I saw some hypocrisy @ a young age in my church - totally turned me off). I do attend church regularly now, though. I love it. While he does make reference to all but Jesus being sinners, our pastor calls us saints (
see myth #1). I continue to go to church because it feels right, and I don't feel guilted into it (like I did when I was little).
