His intent was to point out an example of taking one incident to condemn an entire people. The people in the case of the 9/11 photo he posted are those of the islam religion.
It's been easy to observe on FreeRepublic that many here would cheerfully waste them all.
We have one poster who always captions the 9/11 photo with, "All I need to know about islam I learned on 9/11"
He didn't intend to blame 9/11 on Thailand. In fact I'm sure he's aware that Thailand lost citizens in the twin towers as did many other nations. He's probably also aware that Thailand continues to have a problem with the sometimes violent islamics in their nations southern few Provinces.

Actually, I have a good friend in BKK that managed a hotel where MJ was staying some time ago. He had rented the top 3 floors of the hotel for his entourage, but they ended up kicking him out for inappropriate behavior with children.
