Current events are really beginning to look like a concerted effort.

It smells like the sKerry/fortunate son, concerted effort. Looks like the full court press is on against this country and our president.

This whole article is stupid because Roberts is assuming he has knowledge of all the intelligence that Bush, Cheney, Rice, Powell, and Rumsfeld had about Iraq before the war. And of course Roberts does NOT have access to all that intelligence information. So the entire article proceeds from a false premise that Roberts knows what was going on in Iraq before the war. I can't believe how many dumb editorials are written about WMD in Iraq by people who don't have access to all the facts. Just the other day, Powell said "I thought Iraq was working on nuclear weapons, and the President thought Iraq was working on nuclear weapons."

This claptrap is written by a senior research fellow at the Hoover Institution ?

Is that a local high school ?

Do you have a high school diploma?

Actually, the puppets in 'Team America' withstand heat quite well!

Fox was playing clips of Kim Jong Il yesterday with the recent blustering they've been doing. I can't get over how good that puppet was! I kept waiting for the real Il to break out in a chorus of "I'm so ronery."

No, the 'Far-Right' (ie, anarchists) are standing with the 'Far-Left' on this one....

Neocons are (for the most part) "born again" extreme left wingers most of whom "converted" to the Republican Party when they sensed that the Dims were soft on all out Israeli support (or any thing else that bore a resemblence to a military response).

Opposition to neocons has absolutely nothing to do with "Nazism" and you do nothing but bring disdain and suspicion upon yourself by raising such nonsense.

May 14, 1948: President Harry S. Truman recognizes the State of Israel within eleven minutes of her proclamation.

Do you suffer from the delusion that HST was a strong backer of the concept of an Israeli state?

Wow, even the mere mention of Israel really makes you Buchananites scratchy, doesn't it?

Don't you ever get tired of toting around all that resentment?

I'd rather be judged by the World than receive their sympathy and support a second time.

IMO Mr. Roberts' economics columns attempt to report on the rest of the story. I appreciate that. Many don't.

In this article he seems to make no effort to report at all.

Maybe we are suppose to know why "neocons" are warmongers? Maybe we are suppose to know why taking the war to the enemy is bad? Maybe we are suppose to know why Saddam was in fact harmless, more or less?

There was no explanation for this outburst. He typed in his feeeeeeeeeeeeeelings and then stopped short of explaining them.

I used to read every opinion piece that Paul Craig Roberts wrote for the Washington Times. I stopped believing him after I noticed some serious factual errors.

Many MSM journalists have fallen off the left edge of reality, but Roberts fell off the right.

And, I can't believe how many Sheeple continue to espouse the idea that we "little people" must not use the good sense God gave us, but instead listen to and follow our führer.

And proves once again, as the emotional rhetoric could have easily been scibbled by a Deaniac, that the falling off of the extreme right loops one around to the left...
