The numerous and blatant lies in this email present a target-rich environment. Fire for effect!
Counter protest anyone?
Just like the last massive demonstrations that were held the weekend of March 19th and 20th, that turned out to be a total failure.
Although 1850 organizations were listed as participants, only 5,000 whackjobs showed up at major protests in New York, San Francisco and Seattle.
But it will give Ramsey Clark and Medea Benjamin something to do for the summer.
Look forward to such relevant chants as "FOX NEWS SUCKS" and "FREE MARTHA STEWART".
Note to ANSWER: the war is over. Sadam lost. Iraq has a new government. It's over.
But of course. It's on the calendar, and the radar. Are you up for a road trip, upchuck? I'll host a cookout at the compound afterwards.
DC Chapter Early Warning, mark your calendar ping.
During the Oct 2001 Answer circus, there was a live thread here on FR. One poster commented it would be just a matter of time before someone shouted "Free Mumia!". Sure enough, a few minutes later, Pam Africa (These ANSWER rallies bring in all the nuts) got up and started screaming about Mumia. I wasnt sure what he had to do with the Afghan War, but she was up there leading the Washington Mall crowd in chants of Free Mumia nd Down with the USA..
if you look at the oil fer food donations and some of the funding for intl answer there are some things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmm.
in anycase maybe theyll be all upset at saddam in his undeys...cause he treated his pows according to the geneva conventions.
if someone with the time/resources wants to follow up on the above lead....it is reporting gold....:)
L.O.S.E.R.S.
These ANSWER rallies have all the markings of the Mariel Boatlift; all the nuts in the country are unleashed on unsuspecting members of a civilized society. The ANSWER thugs are everything but..
"Note to ANSWER: the war is over. Sadam lost. Iraq has a new government. It's over."
If they admitted that, they couldn't sell their anti-American protests as such.
I love watching the circus.
March for the following:
1) Stop the War in Iraq
2) End Colonial Occupation from Iraq to Palestine to Haiti
3) Support the Palestinian Peoples Right of Return
4) Stop the Threats Against Venezuela, Cuba, Iran & North Korea
5) U.S. out of the Philippines
6) Bring all the troops home now
7) Stop the Racist, anti-Immigrant and anti-Labor Offensive at Home, Defend Civil Rights
MARA VERHEYDEN-HILLIARD: There! Did we forget anthing, comrade Becker?
BRIAN BECKER: Nyet, comrade Mara. We have included all of our tired, old causes.
(CHORUS) Power to the People!
YAWN...
Perhaps the title shoud be:
We are desperately trying to build Momentum Builds for Sept. 24 Mass March in Washington DC
They probably won't get 20% of the numbers as the annual March For Life in January, but will no doubt get 15,000% more coverage!
ANSWER LA participated in a protest in Baldwin Park, CA in which a 66 year old woman was hit in the forehead with a full water bottle:

If you want to do something about this, send summaries of that last protest to all the news organizations that might cover (and cover for) this upcoming protest. Suggest they tell the truth about ANSWER and its leaders:

I'm always up for a road trip :)
It's on my calendar.
I was wavering* and going wobbly* but the cookout offer clinched the deal!
*I'm taking lessons from Lindsey Graham!
Since ANSWER and MOVEON.ORG move in the same circles, I wonder if ole Howard Dean will be a featured speaker?
NOW, THAT would be a sight to see!!! Howard and Medea on the same stage---two loony birds sqwaking their stupid thoughts to brain challenged geeks!
To quote Dr. McCoy. ANSWER is a CANCER on Peace.
