This is an outrage! How can they do this yet claim to be apologetic for the Koran desecration story?

But it's quite another thing indeed to hide those efforts from its American readers. If Newsweek really thinks America is dead, and our flag belongs in the trash, why won't it tell us?I didn't think I could get any madder at Newsweek. I was wrong.

Are Newsweek's anti-American views news to some here? Every anti-American story the MSM runs just shows the public what they truly are in a clearer fashion.

"As you can see, the cover story shows an American flag, dirtied and tossed in a trash can, its staff snapped in two. The large white text reads, "Amerika ga shinda hi", which translates to "The day America died.""
Interesting how America seems to get blamed for EVERYTHING that goes wrong around the globe. Hell, I am getting sick of everyone using the US as a scapegoat for their problems. Oh, but when they need help...THAT's a different story...all the sudden we become their best friends...
I say SCREW EM ALL!

Don't forget, Newsweek is owned by the Washington Post. When I was living in Eurabia the transplanted Amerikans working the CNN World Edition were more anti-American than any other news journalists I saw. I guess that's why they quit running the shows over here.

I've read, here, that cnn and others trash us relentlessly in their foreign broadcasts. It's all psyops.

Interesting that what is featured on the US edition cover seems to support what is featured on the covers of the other editions.

This can't be doing Newsweek any good in the subscription department. I wonder what their numbers will look like in another year.

I think they have crossed the line into outright treason. It's time to see some of these enemy propagandists hanging from the end of a rope.

Article 1 of 1, Article ID: nwolmail1120050314
March 14, 2005, Newsweek International, Atlantic Edition Mail Call Doing It Their Way Our Jan. 31 report on the world's rejection of the American way of life provoked a passionate response. "Thanks for telling the truth," said one reader. Asked another, "Why didn't this fine story run in my U.S. edition?" A third lamented, "America is not the symbol of hope it once was to others."Then why do they continue to flood across our borders, both legally and illegally?

Ping!
It looks like a version of the strategy of the Palistinians [aka Yasser Arafat] giving one speech in English calling for peace and another in Arabic callling for war.
I assume that the apologies and retractions do not appear in the Newsweek international additions.
Thus the retractions in America may do local damage control for their circulation and domestic legitimacy but does nothing to restore the real damage which was international.

I have a suggestion for Newsweek: re-locate to Canada. Better yet---Cuba. They'll feel right at home there!

Funny how Newsweek isn't brave enough to show a Koran in a trash can.
Oh, but don't you dare suggest they're nor patriotic.
