Sad that such a group must resort to lies in order to gin up its wacko base. Guess it's not surprising. Funny how they don't mention that filibustering of JUDICIAL nominees was unheard of until their sweetheart Democrats started this UNCONSTITUTIONAL move when Bush became President. It was Democrats who changed the rules.

Tired of MoveOn.org's lies and I'm getting real tired of our party not having to guts to stand against this abuse of power by the Democrats!

But they are standing up to them this time. Let's give them all the support we can.

I believe the past week is evidence that the majority of the Republican party has the courage to finally stand up to the Democrats on this issue. The majority have impressed me.

The problem we have are a handful of RINO's we need to break.

And if that means voting those RINO's out of office for betraying us, so be it.

If they believe moveon.org is their continguency, than they can appeal to moveon.org for votes come their next election.

So it isn't true that the republicans filibustered the nomination of Abe Fortas and threatened a filibuster of Richard Paez? I had heard (from some reasonably reliable sources) that it was true. Do you have a source for your information that I could check?
