I do believe those churches you mention are close to Catholicism in morality though different in doctrine and style. The trouble with the Episcopal church is they want to keep all the parts about God's love for us but they want to leave out most of the parts about good and evil and being fallen creatures, and all the icky stuff. Like abortion and euthanazia, and homosexuality, and death penalty, and all the other difficult questions which aren't really so difficult, they just make people angry.

Not saying the Catholic church is righteous, no group of humans is, but they take a stand. That's all I can ask for.

Ok..I see. Glad you cleared that up. I did a google search after you mentioned it and saw a headline about a gay Bishop and ties to the Church of England.

A lot of people have been screaming about the empty Anglican churches in Europe. Guess I didn't make the connection. Thanks.

I doubt you will run across too many of them here on FR.
