Can't imagine what this man went through losing a daughter and unborn grandchild in that manner. R.I.P.

launched his own investigation into his daughter's murder when he felt Los Angeles police were slow to find the killers

I did not know this. Is he the one who identified Charles Manson?

Finding out his daughter married a pedophile rapist probably wasn’t a picnic either.

RIP.

Rest in peace.

With military erectness, Sharon’s father took the stand and was sworn. Though forty-six, he looked younger, and sported a well-trimmed beard. Before entering the courtroom, he had been thoroughly searched, it being rumored that he had vowed to kill Manson. Even though he glanced only briefly at the defendants, and exhibited no discernible reaction, the bailiffs watched him every minute he was in the courtroom.

Paul Tate outlived two of his three daughters. His wife Dorris died of cancer in 1992 and another daughter, Patty, died of breast cancer in 2000. He is survived by his youngest daughter, Debra, of Riverside, Calif.

Poor Debra!

Give Charlie to me...for about ten minutes. I'll rip the insanity from him. I'll get him to admit that he was a bullying coward, who decided his quest for power and influence, was simply a plea for recognition from a weak individual.

Hell....give me just five minutes.

****

Seems he had a very tragic life the last 30 or 40 years. Gotta believe the next one will be a lot better.

Rest in Peace, Col. Tate. And condolences to Debra and the surviving family members.

It breaks my heart to hear this wonderful man spent his last days in a nursing home. I wish I had the ability then to visit him and tell him exactly how much respect and love I have for his family. Happy Birthday Miss Sharon Marie Tate, the world still loves you. Even it’s younger generation which I’m a part of. You are a great actress and they cheated us out of it.
