Ditto what Dobson said.
The one thing I cannot figure out is why Pryor was one of the three protected nominees? That pandering punk is the first one I would have dumped after the way he stabbed his "friend" Judge Roy Moore, as well as America herself, right in the back.

Theoretically, Pryor's there because of some connection to Hillary. At least I have heard that alleged.

This makes him sound pretty conservative, though.

Because Democrats know that Pryor is an ambitious little snot, and after a few years on the unelected federal bench he'll turn into another activist judge they can use.

Maybe it has to do with Pryor already having served due to the recess appointment.

It's very simple. Carl Levin wanted Saad out of the way because he wants the job to go to his cousin's wife, and also Saad on that Circuit Court would have tilted its current tie to the right. Similarly, Myers was headed for a court where he would have tilted the balance. The RATs cannot allow that. Pryor will go where he will make little or no difference on a majorty RAT court...so they don't care. All that matters is the SCORE. It's not enough to get these people on. It's WHERE they go that is so critical...to tilt the balance in our favor. Clinton had SO many judges that it is an uphill battle.

That is why BUSH CANNOT PERMIT THIS TO STAND. If need be, he must choose July 4th as the line on the sand. Bush must tell the Senate: "You will allow an up or down vote on EVERY nominee by July 4th, or on that Independence Day, I shall recess appoint whomever is fillibustered, and take my fight to the people, and against the obstructionists, in the midterm elections"

Pryor upheld the law. Roy Moore got his ass handed to him by his fellow Supreme Court justices.
