What we need to do is keep our dander up enough to get new Republican (not RINO) Senators in wherever we can. There must be races where the Republicans have a good chance of take over and our ire (and money) can be put to good use tipping the balance.
Also, I think two of the Democrat Senators from the South may not save themselves with this deal. I'd love to hear from people there who know if these seats can be taken.
Plus, do what ever it takes to make sure that McCain NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER gets anywhere near the presidency. That has to be done primary by primary.
I think that a number of the Senators in this "deal" want to be in McCain's scope for appointments etc, under the mistaken impression he still has a chance.
We can take care of that, too, by insuring that McCain FAILS.
To have someone get close to the presidency that would pull both this stunt on the elected President and would treat the nominees in this cavalier manner - IS NOT EVEN THINKABLE.
Again, we have to start planning, now, primary by primary.
I agree with planning now. But who will put out the information on who is going to run against these turn coats so that we can donate to the primaries.
