CHICAGO (AP) Authorities say three people, including an off-duty Chicago Police officer, were hospitalized after a brawl near Wrigley Field following yesterday's Chicago White Sox-Chicago Cubs game.

Police say the fight near Addison Avenue and Clark Street started when someone became angry at the officer for wearing a Boston Red Sox jersey as he worked at a concession stand. They say the officer then showed his badge, and a shoving match and a fight began.

Officers say they arrested three people in the fracas, including one who had to be subdued with a Taser stun gun.

All three of the injured were reported in good condition late last night

OK, just as long as the fight was over something really important. Get a life, people.

I might add, that this is what happens when you allow those creatures from the South Side north of Roosevelt...

Were these fans actually being "intolerant"? Incredible.

That's just dandy. And going after an off-duty cop after he shows you a badge shows real brilliance.

Well, let's see. Wearing the Red Sox jersey while working a Wrigley Field concession was inappropriate and I guess management will now have to make it into a rule. But starting a fight with an off-duty cop is pretty stupid and the cop got just what he wanted-a fight.

the officer for wearing a Boston Red Sox jersey

This officer should be charged with attempting to incite a riot.

Seems to me a few straight guys is what that area needs.
