Talk about taking Scripture out of context, this is the height of misinterpretation. Using your logic you would also say that the the hymn "Onward Christian Soldiers" is a call to military or personal warfare against the unbeliever. That hymn, just like the verses you mention, is a call to spiritual warfare and in no way puts Christians on the path to physically fight unbelievers. That is not our duty. Our duty is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and let the Holy Spirit do His work.
The problem I have is this kind of thing just reinforces the myth that they spread about us.
I think perhaps the internet is making inroads where it had not been possible before.
