NBC's "The Office" - coming back

I bought the Coupling collection, but I haven't gotten around to getting the Office yet.

The episode where the boss decides to have his own sensitivity training and then ends up with a sticker on his head saying "Martin Luther King Jr" was pretty funny.

I don't see how this is possible. Friends has had at least 8 seasons. Coupling only had 4, and the last season just aired in Summer 2004.

The BBC version is much better.

I saw one show of the BBC version after seeing four shows of the American one. I thought both were funny, but I thought the American one was funnier. I want American cultural references.

I'm popping the champagne. This is the funniest show I've seen in a while. Plus, the boss on this show is my boss.

I think I caught bits and pieces of that one. Sometimes I have the tele on while I'm gaming, so I don't catch every thing.

The only reason this show is returning is money and demographics, certainly not ratings.

There was an article in The Wall Street Journal last week describing a handful of TV shows with demograpics of people who earn more than $75k per year. Oddly, the viewership of this show is high in that category.

By bragging the geographics and the purchasing power of the viewers, NBC can develop a sales pitch for higher advertising revenue.

I watched this program once and it actually made me glad I'm not rich.

I thought it was pretty good. Their shot at Coupling was definitely a stinker, though- I really think Hollywood is incapable of producing a sex comedy that's actually funny.

You know since "Just Shoot Me" is no longer on, I have to agree that Scrubs is the funniest show on network TV.

That's good news for me, because BBC Canada just finished with season 2 (Susan is preggers). I'm glad to hear there's more to come.

I actually like Scrubs, although I rarely get to see any network programming.

Scrubs is a funny show. Quirky, and a little odd. It's different enough that I enjoy it.
