for $ 3.09 per gallon today at the Union 76 station in Malibu, California. As I drove by, I couldn't help but surmise that this was an outright attempt to gouge multimillionaires like Warren Beatty, Martin Sheen, and Burt Bachrach.

Actually, I'm amazed they allow a gas station in Malibu. What if a drop got into the pristine beaches and sickened one of the stars? What if Babs got a sniff. What if it killed some endangered gerbil?
