just cannot imagine being without a dog! I am currently looking after my dad who has various health issues paticularly since mum had to go into care last November with Dementia. We had a rescue greyhound but unfortunately she had to be put down on January I miss her loads and at present it is just not practical for us to have another dog.
We do have racing pigeons though so still have some contact with living creatures.
My lovely late Gizzy

What a pretty dog was your Gizzy. I've heard those rescue greyhounds make the best pets. Kudos to all you folks who are the rescuers. Giz was lucky to have you as her person.
Now, I don't know anything about racing pigeons and would love for you to tell me about yours.
I shall keep you and your mum and dad in my prayers.

Ah, Rusty. Dutchess, I still think of the very fine thing you did in adopting this dog, who would likely no longer be with us had you not.
People like you inspire the rest of us.

What a lovely story, you're very good at this story telling, the design is clever also. Think you're getting that blockquote thing down. :)
Oliver is so bright and sensitive, love all that kissy kissyness about him. :)
My beagle Daisy is a rescued dog. Dutchess told her story on a Pet thread here one time, guess I need to go look for it and put the link up.
Announcement! Have this years picture of Miss America herself sniffing the wisteria, will try to post it sometime tonight!

You could have that prayer post taken down and repost it if you want to.
I'm curious as to what you found in those boxes, any geodes? I love geodes.
