Guests and topics on Tony's show today include:
Senator Lindsey Graham, (boo-hiss!) will be on to explain why the deal struck by 14 Senators is just wonderful for America.
Senator Hillary Rodham Rodham wont be on the show, but apparently Tony had a bit of a run-in with the jr. senator from NY over the launching of Soldier Ride. Could it be that Hillary just isnt interested in helping wounded soldiers??
Damages to the GOP majority since the betrayal of 7 RINOs and the possiblity of difficult reelections for them will be discussed by Tony.

I do have those little earphone thingies but my friend wouldn't appreciate it. But she's a political junkie too and wouldn't mind listening to the radio.
Maybe we'll eat in the car. LOL
later all...thanks so much for the notes.
Snow pointing out Graham was willing to go to court to stop the filibusters against judicial nominees, that is how strongly he is against the practice.
Snow therefore does believe Graham will keep his word and vote for the option if a filibuster is invoked again.
Snow points out that only two of the seven to vote for the option--and DeWine and Graham have pledged it and Warner now is likely and it's game set match.
Snow states (and it happens to reflect my thinking) he does not like that a deal was made, but it appears to have moved the ball forward without invoking the option.
Caller asks what the Republicans had to give up and Snow says the idea that a judicial nominee should never be filibustered. That could change if the filibuster is invoked again against one of President Bush's nominees. In the meantime it's preserved.
What about that part of "the deal" which calls on the President to consult w/THEM beforehand about HIS choice of judicial nominees? That part of "the deal" is NOT in their job description, and the very idea frosts me.
Who is Ted Koppel? If you ignore them long enough they will go away.
Everybody but the egomaniacs realizes that idea is absurd.
It simply isn't going to happen.
Caller hanging onto his anger with both hands as Tony Snow tries to explain that Graham did not say they would have a list of candidates for the President to pick from.
Snow was very firm that was misrepresented in the WaPo. Asked the caller who he was going to believe, Snow or the WaPo.
He's going to replay the HRC staffer message again, but I'm going to switch over to tv. Good show. I'm glad I was able to listen.
Tony doesn't like the deal but thinks eventually we'll get the nuke option and all be happy.
Tony, I wish I had your optimism about it.
I'm off for other activities. Thanks for the updates and comments folks.

Or the dems won't filibuster a judicial nominee again so it won't have to be invoked at all.
I agree with him and I think, contrary to Charles Krauthammer yesterday, that the 81-18 vote ending the Owen filibuster was very significant.
Time will tell.
I'm still waiting to post a "you were right and I'm glad" post to you about Bolton.
Hope to get that opportunity very soon.
I've got my keys in hand, ready to dash out the door right after the vote...I hope they get it done quickly.
Taking roll. Might take up to a half hour but definitely worth seeing.
I'd like to see them hold their breath waiting for the president to do that
Hi prairie, just checking in. Maybe I can catch a replay later. Now I'll read this LONG thread and see what I missed.
Hi there! It was a good show.
