Not many of those in MA...
Framingham was old-time Italian for many years. Then it added a sizable 'Rican and Brazilian population. The former is mostly gone now (dead or in jail), and the latter has risen to become a slightly conservative middle class.
There is also a recent influx of snobs who have ruined the town with their money and politics, removing the word "Christmas" from schools and replacing the guns on their historic toy-soldier statues with candy canes.
This boy's story is another fine example of what Framingham has become...
I meant down South ;)
Don't forget about the Confederate POWs at Fort Warren, although that prison was not nearly as bad as the other Yankee facilities.
