About 2 million Hispanics, including 400,000 Californians, were sent to Mexico during that period. It was devised by the Hoover administration to get rid of illegal immigrants and open up jobs, but most of the people deported were American citizens or legal immigrants, said Sen. Joe Dunn, the author of the bill.

Most likely a damnable lie. Most likely the majority of the deportees were illegal aliens

By all means apologize. Apologize even while in the act of removing them. However, immediately start removing them! Instead of reparations vote a fund to gather the means of transportation.

We all know who's expected to pay.

Allowing reparations to this group, will start a flood. They know this. The dividers of the nation will never stop.

I wish that was their platform today. I would consider voting Republican again if it were.

Can you believe this?

First they open the door to everyone who wants reparations.

Second, they're hypocrites for saying they can't do the feds job which is immigration, yet, here they go...

I think they're going to have a hard time getting the tax money together for this. People need to be yipping about this, or demand a second bill, where v. fox and friends need to apologize for the invasion and pay reparations to closed hospitals, etc.

"Can you believe this?"

Regrettably, yes. To understand our problem, take a look at the political/ethnic makeup of that gaggle of crap-weasels we have in Sacramento. Until we find a way to drag them out of office, we're going to see more of this.

There may not be a peaceful answer. In California, our political institutions and processes have been hijacked by the barbarians. To get them back may well require something more than merely participating in a voting process that can no longer be guaranteed safe from illegal votes or other mischief.

According to the Overlawyered website, State Senator Joe Dunn "made a fortune suing doctors." Theres a great article about this shyster Dunn in the Jewish World Review, titled, "The Runaway Trial Lawyer," which says "Dunn has been unrelenting in his pursuit to lobby for more bills that create more lawsuits for his trial lawyer brethren." Dunn has described his "apology" bill as opening "a window for lawsuits." So now this ambulance-chasing lawyer is trying to extort potentially hundreds of millions of dollars from the California taxpayers to ship down to Mexico. Can anybody say "treason"? I urge everyone to drop State Senator Joe Dunn an email and let him know what they think of his slimey little "apology" and "reparations" bills: Senator.Dunn@sen.ca.gov

If you want to get a good look at this specimen Joe "Ambulance Chasing" Dunn, you should check out an excellent article about him in the Jewish World Review, entitled, "The Runaway Trial Lawyer." http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0704/medicine.men070904.asp Now lets see if this two-bit lawyer can shake down the American taxpayers for a couple hundred million bucks.
