That's understandable although I believed it was evident in my syntax that it was meant to be funny. perhaps I misjudged. That doesn't answer the question about the nuke advocates.

Because there's a difference between hyperbole (who actually thinks we'd nuke ANYTHING) and something that's a very real possibility.

While a tremendous number of people in this country have the equipment to go on a shooting spree, if that were their bent, I know of few people who have access to nukes. They do not have the ability to deploy these without the proper orders along their chain of command. There are safeguards to prevent rogue acts.

So ranting "nuke 'em all" is a statement of sentiment, but, for most everyone, remains somewhere between an empty threat to a mere expression of anger. Not a realistic outcome, just hyperbole, and far less do-able than most of the garbage the DU crowd says should be done to Republicans and conservatively minded folk.

Taking a rifle to the border, by contrast, and shooting at illegals is possible for most anyone who is so inclined, and we wouldn't want to be the ones to be blamed for inciting such an act.
