I'm not a freestater, or a Libertarian, if that's what you mean. I've spent over 15 years in NE, including MA & NH. The "Live Free or Die" is a nice idea for a state motto, it's probably the worst bad joke there is on a license plate.
I kinda like it, and in a state that has a property tax as it's only major tax it rings true for the most part. No income tax, no sales tax. I like that one.

I never would've guessed that you weren't one. That license plate was about the most Libertarian thing I've ever seen, except that they probably wouldn't have plates.
