The liberal Interfaith Alliance is backing a hate-crimes bill that adds "sexual orientation" to its list of protected list.
The legislation, reintroduced by two Democrats and two Republicans in Congress, would expand federal jurisdiction to cover violent hate crimes committed "because of the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender or disability" of the victim.

Some people are more equal then others. The ONLY time I would support hate-crime legislation would be if the victim is a child.

A disproportionately high percentage of child molestors are homesexuals. In raw numbers, there are a larger amount of heterosexual child molestors simply because fags number maybe 2% of the American population, but the percentage of homosexuals who are pedophiles are much larger than heterosexuals. I hate throwing out numbers like that, but it does say something about this perverted sexual deviance, I mean..."lifestyle choice."
If we start making laws protecting sexual orientation, how long will it be before some pedophile, zoophile or polyamorist find a liberal judge that will extend these right to their perversions?
It be used to silence pastors and subject those churches that dare to speak out on issues of human sexuality to lawsuits or worse!
