McCain will run third party -- just remember Ross Perot. That's what he is angling for. And maybe Hillary will offer him a VP spot.

he is always a viable candidate worthy of voter consideration. What, you think only the people on FR know he's insane?
Nope. That's precisely why the MSM loves him, because he's an off-the-wall, mercurial, newsmaking kind of oddity.
McCain as 2008 nominee is ridiculous, not worthy of serious discussion.

Maybe he will offer Hillary the VP spot. Do not rule out John jumping parties. A long shot, but a possibility. He will need the right venue: "my party left me etc." A grandiose show of statesmanship.

McCain hates dubya so much that he would help flush our Constitution down the toilet before he would actually do what is right for the country.

McCain established himself as a fool long ago. This new movie, Faith of the Father's is a klintonesque approach to garner praise and sympathy for McLaim. McSwami is going down for this reason, gulliable enough to help the democrats and sell-out his party. One thing we freepers should remember, liberals love to make movies about' F--k Ups' JFK(alleged war hero)had an affair with an east german spy while in naval intelligence and was quickly moved, not relieved of duty to the PT 109. While being the skipper of PT 109 jfk and members of his crew were intoxicated and a Japanese destoyer severed PT 109 in half. Consequences? no court martial or disciplinary action. However, later on a movie depicting (jfk) as a war hero suddendly appeared. Scary kerry,(alleged war hero) armed with 8mm camera and underwood M79 typewriter became a naval exchange hero by submitting fictious reports concerning his pin prick war wounds(self-inflicted by ignorance and planning) So alas, we have another war hero. As to a movie concerning scary, he did have a (home movie) depicting his acts of heroism. Now McLaim, (the Songbird) as I have been informed, suddenly is a celluloid war hero of the Hanoi Hilton. Interesting, this movie suddenly appears after selling us out to the commies in the senate. Those three klowns are not real war heros, but useful idiots for the demo-commies. (the elitist) I do know of some real war heros, Sergeant Alvin York, 2Lt. Audie Murphy, and Jerimiah Denton and US Marine who lives next door to me. McLaim is a hero in his own little self-important RINO nuerotic demo-slimed mind. I hope that I have clarified the heros of the left for all who read this post. Sincerely, NSNR

FNC seems to know McCain IS running for president. He has set himself firmly in the middle as far as the MSM is concerned.
Perception is reality for the MSM.

Nations Republican's to Sen John McCain: We won't vote for you anyways.

McCain has no further designs on the Presidency since he's hoping for the VP nod from Hillary.

I think we are missing something here. The republican majority is united on one item...it preferred Bush to Kerry. Other than that there is no monolithic consensus of opinion. The party is too big, at this point, to be controllable in a total sense. Example: the party includes libertarians who are conservative on the war, but liberal on marijuana laws etc. The same party includes Christian conservatives who would have alcohol prohibited if they could. Do we think these groups will be comfortable with the same judges?
To be effective we have to listen to each other and find the broad platform planks that we can all agree on and go to war over them. 100 million votes said anti terror, anti Muslim extremists, pro USA. Lets build on the broad generalizations and accomplish what we can.

Put a period at the end of "this week" in the first sentence, and it will more likely be a true statement: he's not running for president "this week". Now, next week....stay tuned.

John McCain is in love with the "traditions" of the Senate. With compromise, principles are more often than not, sacrificed. The Chamber is filled with empty suits more interested in Sunday Morning Talk Shows than following the Constitution.

Yeah, he married a woman for her family's dough, ala J. "effin" [excuse my frency] Kerry.
To: thoughtomator
He could run as a Democrat, he's got a better chance winning their primaries than the GOP primaries. You can say that again. He's dead meat in Iowa and he would need a decent showing here.
