McCain thinks he established himself as a leader, when in fact, he established himself as a tool of the Democrats, a backstabber, and a sellout of the principles he claimed to have.
To: FairOpinion
He could run as a Democrat, he's got a better chance winning their primaries than the GOP primaries.

stupid article. Of course he's running.
To: FairOpinion
McCain's judgement is so seriously flawed that he could never be considered for president. He pushed CFR and the result was the dirtiest, nastiest campaign in history. Then is little brokered deal lasted only two days before falling apart. Good Lord, it was as effective as Clinton's accord with the North Koreans.

The article is being sarcastic -- read past the title.

He's probably running for V.P. with Hillary.

I'll believe it when McCain says it. On second thought...I take that back.

I saw a snippet of an interview that I think will be aired on Wolf Blitzer's Sunday program tomorrow, that has McCain being asked if he is going to run for POTUS---
He answers that he would like to be the POTUS, but hasn't decided if he is going to run in 2008.

He can run, but will be an amazing failure, ala Dick Gephardt coming in 4th in Iowa in 2004.

Lets look at John McCain's resume:
Joined the family business.
Got blown up (USS Forrestal).
Got shot down.
Got a bunch of metals for above.
Screwed everyone he met.
Got divorced.
Got another government job.
Started screwing people he hadn't even met yet.
Ran for President and lost.
Started screwing the party that rejected him.
Did I miss anything?

McCrazy doesn't have a chance in Hades of winning the 2008 Republican nomination.
It's the kind of lunatic prediction that only a member of the MSM would seriously entertain.

Good list. When he looses his senate seat, you can add that to the list too.
To: FairOpinion
What is all the focus on McCain for? You are all missing the point! The issue is that there is no control in the Republican Party....none. Frist has no control over the party. The Republican Party isn't the Republican Party anymore. McCain is not DOING ANYTHING. The Republican Party is in disarray.

McCain vs. who? There are a lot of dorky potential candidates in either party he would easily defeat. He's getting a little old, but he is always a viable candidate worthy of voter consideration.

Maybe McCain plans to be the Ross Perot of 2008 -- and help Hillary get elected by splitting the moderate and independent vote.
