Great idea Hodar! Why isn't that option being explored energetically by the oil companies? Why aren't the dip sticks in power in D.C. doing something? Why, why, why? Privately, I will confess to believing too many palms are being geased with the black oily profits.

Oh, TDP is being rigorously investigated. Good article here by USA today. The company that is spearheading this technology is called Changing World Technologies.

The process looks like this:

And one of the test plants is in operation RIGHT NOW, and is running in Philadelphia. One of the problems is getting a continuous stream of good organtic waste into the process. Once we start the factory, it's efficient; if we have to start and stop the factory, the efficiency goes out the window.
