Caracas, May 30 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela´s Communication and Information Minister Andres Izarra assured Monday normality is reigning in the country and President Hugo is perfectly well and working on his agenda.
In telephone statements for Globovision, Izarra denied rumors questioning Chavez´ health after not attending a march in Caracas Saturday, and suspending his habitual Sunday program Alo Presidente.
Izarra said that once informed of the situation, the president asked him to contact those in Miraflores and say he was fine.
Chavez is "simply spending time with his family, as is the right of any human being. Nothing out of the ordinary is happening," the minister stated, noting those rumors probably came from sectors interested in destabilizing the population.
"I hope he is in heaven now.'

I personally don’t believe that. I saw the duplicate and read his “note” of resignation. It was printed in a style of a second grader. He couldn’t keep his left and right margins straight, and the lines were crooked. At the last moment, he decided it needed his presidential “shield,” or what ever it was suppose to be, but there was no room at the top for the entire depiction of the shield, so the top of the shield went off the page. I’m telling you. This man is uneducated and dumber than dirt.
That is, he tried to "draw" in the shield at the top of the page. It was hilarious.
Back in the days of the Soviet Union, when a member of the polit bureau disappeared from sight, TASS would announce that he has a "cold". Then he has "pneumonia". Then the member will be buried last month.
Maybe Hugo's scientists have developed an infinite improbability drive?
